Outrage!
[edit]That last paragraph was clearly added by a lastminute.com employee.
GreatTurtle's revision of 15:29, 18 May 2007
[edit]I'm not sure such a sweeping deletion was needed - admittedly the material cut is not particularly well written, but it seems to me to be valid business history and not particularly POV. However, revert wars are just about the dullest thing in the world so can we discuss it here and see what can be salvaged? Barnabypage 16:30, 18 May 2007 (UTC)
Now Defunct?
[edit]I'm not sure what the scoop is on this, but I booked a flight on Lastminute yesterday. Went to the site today to check something & it's gone! Redirecting straight to Travelocity. Does this mean Lastminute is shut down completely or just undergoing maintenance or something? Weasel Fetlocks (talk) 18:41, 25 November 2008 (UTC)
- It appears to be fine now - maybe, as you say, it defaults to redirecting to Travelocity (Lastminute's parent company) if there are problems with the Lastminute site. Barnabypage (talk) 21:25, 25 November 2008 (UTC)
NPOV
[edit]Not sure if this is the right tag, but there are sections of the article (see the comment about 'continuing to deliver their quirky/subversive brand') that are unsourced and read something like LastMinute.com marketing material. On the other hand, other sections, especially the bit about opt-in/opt-out payments seem to be making strongly anti lastminute.com statements without any evidence presented. In particular the statement about discount vouchers being 'mythical' seems very NPOV. If this info is to be in the article, shouldn't it be in the 'Criticisms' section and be properly sourced? --87.86.242.99 (talk) 11:05, 9 December 2009 (UTC)
Mythical vouchers
[edit]The word "mythical" is pretty clumsy but the link , widely discussed on various sites, between the Lastminute.com and controversial company Adaptive Affinity remains in place as far as can be seen and has barely been defended or rebutted by Lastminute.com. In the absence of additional light being shone on this arrangement then it should stay because it remains a legitimate criticism of the company. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 87.113.155.245 (talk) 00:49, 17 April 2010 (UTC)
