Photographer?

[edit]

We read:

He has a wide range of publications including several video games, research, software and books of poetry and photography.

What books of poetry and photography? -- Hoary (talk) 15:02, 7 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Still no answer so I'm about to remove this claim and related categories. -- Hoary (talk) 06:48, 20 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Multiple issues (June 2014)

[edit]

After reading this article, I still have no idea who Lindsey Grace is or why he's important (if he even is). The article is sprinkled with little tidbits of his career with no care for flow or chronology. I get some idea that he's important or recognized in the Serious Games space, but I have no idea why. The article mentions some things he's done, but doesn't say what they're about or why they're important (e.g. Wait, what's it about? Why was it so significant?). It also mentions some of his other ventures, but gives no details or even summaries (Critical Gameplay, is it a game or what? Polyglot Cubed, what is it? Mindtoggle Games, is it the publisher or his games? Is it active?).

As it stands, it reads like "I'm Lindsey Grace and here's why I'm so great!!" This article really needs some TLC from an editor more familiar with his work. — Frεcklεfσσt | Talk 13:41, 16 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Tried to fill in some blanks - there's lots of information on the web. Perhaps searching for "Lindsay Grace" instead of "Lindsey Grace" is the problem? It looks like Lindsey Grace is the lesser known photographer, while Lindsay Grace is the academic game designer. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 192.12.13.10 (talk) 15:32, 3 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Questions from new editor (June 2014)

[edit]

Have all options been exhausted for this article? Where to begin editing something like this scrawled during a long night of depressive drinking. Perhaps I'd best stick to tweaking soccer and motorsport articles while I procrastinate image editing work, and leave this sad, sad little stub for "an editor more familiar with Grace's work," as FF puts it. Amen, brother. — Frεcklεfσσt | Talk 13:56, 19 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]
[edit]

I moved new external links from an anon IP here:

They really need descriptions to be added, but I fear we're getting too many extern links for this rather obscure person (despite how the article talks about how great and accomplished he is). — Frεcklεfσσt | Talk 15:51, 3 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Here's another external link, Lindsay Grace is in the board of directors for the Global Game Jam http://globalgamejam.org/about - Maybe needs A link from that stub? I'd say this person is not über celebrity famous, but still seems like a wiki bio worthy person (like Mary Flanagan or Constance Steihnkuler) It sounds like maybe there's need to cut out the details section (all those conferences and stuff) to make it less like a resume? I'm not an editor, so I don't know what to do. I know about indie games and in general wikipedia's game / independent games stuff is far too thin. You need some game people to fix all these incomplete articles-guess they are all too busy playing games ;) 198.228.228.22 (talk) 00:40, 7 July 2014 (UTC)wiki gamer[reply]
