Is this where the famous Mark Whetren used to play his cricket? What a player he used to be! Does anyone know what he is upto now?? Barry, Haslemere

Player list removed from article[edit]

I removed the following text:

Liphook Legends include, Richard Lewis, Tim Wheatley, Duncan Berry, Mark Whetren, Andy Brown and Alan Crawford.

This is not very helpful as it stands, since there's no point in a list of names that means nothing to anyone other than club insiders. Who, for example, is Tim Wheatley? He's not notable for Wikipedia unless he's played first-class, List A or Twenty20 cricket. The same goes for the others - although Mark Whetren is undoubtedly a Legend; only those players who are notable at that standard should be listed, unless any of them are notable (to Wikipedia standards) for something else. Also, unless "Liphook Legends" is an official name (in which case it needs to be cited) then the word "Legends" is clear POV, and the start of the sentence should be replaced by something like "Liphook players have included...".
