Can you upload some December Albums[edit]

August 21 Can you upload some December Albums I saw three albums on the Genius Website I would accept that please. 68.103.78.155 (talk) 13:32, 21 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Absolutely we can upload some December albums. Please list artist and album title, and provide a news source for each album to show notability. Mburrell (talk) 17:09, 21 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I Found A December Album Today on amazon that will be released on December 7 It's Called The Cold War Kids Self title album can you upload it for me please. 68.103.78.155 (talk) 19:33, 5 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

You need to provide a URL or a URL hyperlink. I have searched Google for Cold War Kids self titled December and got no results. I have gone to Amazon.com and searched Cold War Kids and got a list of albums, none were self-titled, none were to be released in December 2018. Ideally I would want a news citation to show notability, as even if I could identify the album you are listing, I would not list it unless a news organization mentions it as the main subject of an article. In this case, I cannot even locate the album as you have described it. Mburrell (talk) 20:33, 5 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Within Temptation is releasing an album titled Resist on December 14th with The Reckoning as a lead single. There is a Wikipedia page already about the album, I just thought it would be helpful to some who refer to the List of 2018 Albums rather than individual artists and albums. Thanks! List of 2018 albums article[edit]

I Can't Edit list of 2018 Albums because it's blocked and I can't edit anything. 68.103.78.155 (talk) 17:29, 21 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

That is correct. That is why people who don't have established accounts make their request on the talk page. On this page, the talk page, please list the artist, the album, the date released, and link to a news source to show notability. Look at answered sections to see that the requestor has listed the album, their approximate release date, and provided citations. Do that, and and one of five or six editors who look to grow the list will heed your suggestions and either add them to the list, or provide a reason why they could not. Mburrell (talk) 22:13, 21 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

"Natural Rebel" - Richard Ashcroft - 19th of October (2018)[edit]

You have missed the new Richard Ashcroft's album, "Natural Rebel". It was released the 19th of October. — Preceding unsigned comment added by FerryLuckyMan (talkcontribs) 19:56, 19 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

By gosh, you are right, it has been missed, although I am not sure who this "you" you are talking about is. You should really go to the talk page of this "you" and mention this.
As there was no question or request here, I assume this was a declarative statement. Thank you for posting this message. Mburrell (talk) 05:06, 20 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Please add Summer of 2018, released by Jason Fieler on August 10, 2018 (genre: progressive rock, classical, jazz; label: Jason Fieler; producer: Jason Fieler) and Easy Listening, also released by Jason Fieler on December 8, 2018 (genre: soft rock, classical; label: Jason Fieler; producer: Jason Fieler) Lapisman47 (talk) 02:13, 16 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Not done Artist appears to be non-notable. I suggest you create a Wikipedia article for the artist and show why he is notable first, then return to this list with a new request. I saw that you created an article for the first album you mentioned, but you failed to include any citations, or anything to show why the album is notable. Unless more work is done, that article is sure to be deleted, so I suggest you develop the album article some more. I found nothing in Wikipedia on the second album. I can post the albums, but first you need to do the work of creating the artist article and show notability. Mburrell (talk) 04:00, 16 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Not done for now: See the lead: "These are notable albums, defined as having received significant coverage from reliable sources independent of the subject." If any of these albums have Wikipedia articles, please link to them. I see that a couple of the albums above are linked; please provide a release date, a reference, and a link to the artist. Look at the existing table to see the information that is listed for each album. – Jonesey95 (talk) 20:00, 14 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Partially completed Added all entries where the album or artist had their own WP article (Lingua Ignota's originally released in 2017 so you'll find that one there). Anything I didn't add was 'cause that act doesn't have their own WP article, and they need one (or one for the album) to be listed. If said article already exists for any given act or album which I didn't add, then please link it here and I'll add those as well. And for those for which no article exists yet, feel free to start one and link it here, and if it's up to snuff then I (or whichever editor wants to hop in) will make the entry. Extended-confirmed-protected edit request on 17 October 2021[edit]

Hello. For the Wiki page, titled "List of 2018 albums" can you add TWICE's albums "What is Love?" (April 9), Yes or Yes? (November 5) and The Year of Yes (December 12), please? Thank You! Nikolai Boyanov (talk) 15:23, 17 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

To help the editor answering this request, the albums are linked from {{Twice}}. – Jonesey95 (talk) 15:48, 17 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Done What is Love? and Yes or Yes both added; The Year of Yes is a reissue of YoY and so I'm pretty sure it shouldn't be listed here. QuietHere (talk) 15:56, 17 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Kendrick Lamar/Various artists - Black Panther: The Album missing[edit]

Soundtrack album released February 9, 2018 by Top Dawg Entertainment, Aftermath Entertainment, and Interscope Records. Genre: Hip-Hop, gqom, trap, R&B, ATM (African trap music), pop rap. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Black_Panther_(soundtrack) TheBoy2007 (talk) 14:53, 12 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Sounds good. Go ahead and enter it. Only list three genres, as there is a limit of three listings for the cells, which mostly applies to genre and label listings. This is Wikipedia. If you see an issue, deal with it yourself, don't request others to tackle that issue. I know you have the skills to enter an album listing, you already did it for List of 2017 albums. Mburrell (talk) 20:30, 12 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry for responding so late. I would've done so already, however, it says the page is protected, so thus, I cannot. TheBoy2007 (talk) 00:39, 19 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
