Mistakes in constructors champions[edit]

The official statistics website shows MV Agusta as 1955 champion, Yamaha as 1974 and 1977 champion, and Honda as 1986, 1992, 1993, 1994 and 1996 champion. Which table is wrong? --NaBUru38 (talk) 14:03, 8 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

This list is about riders' championship and only show the constructors that the riders' champions rode in that season. Sometimes the constructors that won the constructors' championship are different from the bike that the riders' champion ride. For example in 2008, Marco Simoncelli who rode a Gilera won the riders' championship, but Aprilia won the constructors' championship by having more points in the constructors' standing.
