Percentage wins

There is a mistake. Phil Carpenter participated in 500cc Isle of Man TT in three years, not only 1974.

Yes,you're right, but according to motogp.com, he started in one race. So, who's right? iomtt.com or motogp.com? https://www.motogp.com/en/riders/profile/Phil+Carpenter — Preceding unsigned comment added by 46.103.20.157 (talk) 20:59, 3 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Multiple rider records

[edit]

I think we should present the list of most grand chelem/slam (win, pole, f. lap & leading every lap) and (maybe) the list of most super grand slam (pole, win sprint & race, f. lap sprint & race leading every lap in both sprint & race).

As far as I know Marquez has 9 grand chelem and leads the standing along with Stoner (which I think has also 9, but there may be 10). As for the Super grand slams, Bagnaia is leading with 2, followed by Marquez with 1. But please check if I'm wrong. Tommaso Righi (talk) 10:05, 9 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@Tommaso Righi You have any source? Dieter Lloyd Wexler 11:02, 9 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, the source is the MotoGP official site. I checked one by one every race. The data are available for the MotoGP era, meaning 2002-today. We found:

You checked one by one? That's WP:OR. We need a source that actually lists them, like in F1 where they have this as their main source. I feel like these grand slam and hat-trick terminologies are F1-focused in the first place so it's not necessary to apply to MotoGP what they have in F1. Got it. That's make me sad, but it's the rule. I will be the only owner of this stat on earth 😅.
Please note the following this rule, you have no source for the pole&win stat, and that the source for the hat tricks has different (wrong) numbers compared to the page. Tommaso Righi (talk) 13:43, 9 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
