[edit]The total number of African American recipients versus the total number of recipients would be a good thing to include in the lead section. Rmhermen 15:42, 22 August 2006 (UTC)
- I agree. There should also be an explanation of why the 7 WWII recipients were only recently awarded the MOH. This stuff should be coming soon, right now I am trying to complete the list. Jwillbur 19:35, 22 August 2006 (UTC)

Most decorated unit?
[edit]This article from CNN states that the Buffalo Soldiers earned more Medals of Honor than any other unit. I recall hearing the same thing from other sources, but have not been able to verify if it is true. The CNN article mentions both the 9th and 10th Cavalry Regiments, and the term "Buffalo Soldiers" can also apply to the 24th and 25th Infantry Regiments. Is there any source that states clearly which, if any, of these four units is the U.S. military unit with the most Medals of Honor? Number Discrepency
[edit]Old intro used to say 90 medals going to 89 recipients, but the list includes 90 names, so it must be 91 Medals going to 90 recipients. Old intro is probably from before Canley was awarded the MOH in 2018. 72.80.163.171 (talk) 14:58, 14 July 2020 (UTC)
