policy violation

[edit]

Agrawal, Ashvini (1989). Rise and Fall of the Imperial Guptas. Motilal Banarsidass Publ. ISBN 978-81-208-0592-7. This source was used as a claim of Brahmin status for Gupta empire. ...and it doesn't write anything like that not even word brahman. Heba Aisha (talk) 02:49, 3 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Also WP:WTAF applies in list articles. So before adding any estate...write the article first.Heba Aisha (talk) 20:16, 2 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

RegentsPark, after my edit on this page, there has been addition of new dynasties, for most of them no wiki article exists. I propose its revert to the version of mine as it is a list article and as per WP:WTAF, we need only those articles here for which pages exist. Also, for the users, who have edited this page after that, i would like to say : they are not even autoconfirmed and they must lack knowledge about wiki policies. I've extended confirmed protected the article. Perhaps all the unsourced red links should go? Anyone who wants to add something and is not an EC user can use the talk page. --RegentsPark (comment) 20:11, 26 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
To start with, I removed some of the red-link wikilinks. -- DaxServer (talk) 20:38, 26 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

read like a racist shill for one group of peoples over another and cites an non RS

[edit]

"Brahmans are recruited in Army because of their magnificent physique; their breeding and pride of race is reflected in their cleanliness and smartness on parade. They are fine athletes, expert wrestlers, and excel in feats of strength; and they have a high reputation for courage.[5]" this text should be removed from the article entirely as it promotes eugenics, cites a non reliable source and is overall a plane fabrication. see- WP:RS WP:NPOV — Preceding unsigned comment added by Rammuni BadaUdasin (talkcontribs)

I've removed this (since the article is under ECP and the requester is not EC). I can't load the linked citation so, if someone could take a look at it and decide what to do with it, that would be good. --RegentsPark (comment) 11:37, 28 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Add the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh also to the Satavahana Dynasty. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Voglam (talkcontribs) 23:35, 4 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
