re-prod[edit]

This already failed a prod (listed by me, removed by User:Kappa) so the next step in the process is AfD. Re-prods are discouraged by WP:PROD... However, given the support for much worse lists than this recently, I don't think it would be deleted, despite the very valid policy concerns expressed by myself and User:Appropriate Username. Potential[edit]

Karlheinz Riedle[edit]

Although Karlheinz didn't make 100 appearances (76 games, 15 goals), I personally think he had an impact comparable to some players in this list. Should I add him to the list or is he too small-time a figure in Liverpool's great history? ny156uk 19:20, 24 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Well, it's tricky. I liked Riedle, but I think he suffered slightly from playing in quite an unsuccessful time for the club. So it's hard make a case for him having made a greater contribution than loads of other players, so the floodgates may open and the list would become way too big. I'm open to future additions, possibly even Riedle, but there may need to be some sort of voting process for players under the 100 game mark. ArtVandelay13 10:16, 25 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Markus Babbel[edit]

Because he would have passed the total were it not for a serious illness, and in the games he did play, he made a huge impact. I know that sounds a bit POV, but it did pass the featured vote with him included. ArtVandelay13 16:03, 2 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah, but that justification could be used for a fair number of players down the years, if you substitute injury for illness. Markus Babbel is easily notable enough. If you ran a poll on every liverpool fc forum, there would total confusion at his exclusion from the list. However, some players who have played fewer matches are also included; players who fell just short of the 100 total but made significant contributions to the club's history. Glenn Hysén[edit]

Duncan McLean redirect[edit]

It's an old-style position, before the 1950s and 60s, British teams used to play 2-3-5, 2 full-backs, 3 half-backs, 2 outside-forwards, 2 inside-forwards and 1 centre-forward. ArtVandelay13 16:29, 2 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

100 Players Who Shook the Kop[edit]

Thoughts on adding the players who made either the 2006 or 2013 lists but aren't on this list? The affected players are the following:

I appreciate that some of these are more notable than others (Cissé, Hannah, Ince, McAllister, Sissoko and Suárez seem like good calls to be on the list though...), and there are probably good reasons why some of them are not included (it's a mystery to me how Camara, Clough, Litmanan, Meijer or Mellor got onto 100PWSTK at all...).
