Wow, someone really needs to work on this page. Only problem is, where does one find this information outside of Wikipedia? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 199.8.26.10 (talk) 16:18, 20 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Yankees.com

Also I noticed that Dave Righetti is listed as the yankees all time career leader in saves with 224. Mariano Rivera has nearly 260 more saves than Righetti. I am making the change. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 96.231.54.110 (talk) 12:47, 6 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

If you take a look at the table key, you'll see that active players are excluded from the career records. This is because they would have to be updated constantly, which is impractical. Imagine what would happen when Derek Jeter breaks the team's all-time hits record. That would have to be changed almost daily. Your intentions are good, but I'm going to revert. Playoff Stats?[edit]

I would think this would be useful. Overall playoffs with LWS, LDS, LCS and WS breakdowns if possible. Arnabdas (talk) 20:16, 3 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

  • I checked the Yankees' website and Baseball-Reference, and neither site lists the team's playoff stat leaders. I'm surprised that Baseball-Reference doesn't have them, because it has so many regular season stats. Without a good source, I wouldn't feel comfortable making any additions to an FL, which needs its items to at least have a general reference. Giants2008 (Talk) 13:07, 12 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
