description makes no sense

[edit]

The description here makes no sense with the title. The title says "List ... by ethnicity"; the description says "listing ... by their families' country of origin (not to be confused with ethnicity)". Which is it? --LQ 05:24, 13 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Peter Bell is of Central American origin, despite being adopted in South Korea. Corpman 03:31, 19 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Why are some players names in bold, and others not? I can't figure it out. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 130.194.13.104 (talk) 06:20, 11 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Current players are in bold. Crickettragic (talk) 13:09, 12 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I agree with that the description is stupid. It should state, country of parental decent, or actually list players by ethnicity, which would mean the exclusion of American, New Zealand and lists that arn't an ethnic group. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 220.237.180.38 (talk) 07:53, 1 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I have started to put it in table format with many of the criteria (including country of birth in). Not sure what the page should be titled once the conversion is complete. I'd expect that the overseas born page will also be merged with this page eventually. --Rulesfan (talk) 13:53, 24 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I really don't think it's appropriate including Indigenous Australian players in this list considering the name of the page. The 'born overseas' article should probably be merged into this one and a separate list could be created for Indigenous Australians. Jevansen (talk) 00:26, 5 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Table or List

[edit]

What is the deal with the table at the start of the page. It appears to be very incomplete as there are a lot more names in the list. Also there seems to be no particular order to it. Much easier, given that this page is about being classified by nation, to make it in order of nation, and this is suited to a list. Tempted to delete the table straight off, but no doubt someone put some quite some work into it. Any comments? ROxBo (talk) 20:42, 31 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Citations

[edit]

This list of living people should be supported by citations. I propose there are no further additions that are not supported by a reference.ROxBo (talk) 12:47, 26 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

What is "non-Australian ethnicity"?

[edit]

It's the term used at the end of the second criterion for including players here. I've tried to get my head around it, and have given up.

First, one needs to define "Australian ethnicity". Well,.....

Anyone?

It's been nearly a week. No response, so I've boldly removed it as meaningless. HiLo48 (talk) 23:53, 15 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
