Lubov Chernukhin

[edit]

Hi Edward,

You removed the link section between Chernukhin and Alexander Temerko and Viktor Fedotov. Without it the following three paragraphs make no sense. The connection between the three (directors of the same company) is important as (per the quote by The Times' Edward Lucas in the subsequent section and the quote from the Parliamentary Russia Report) there is concern as to an number of people, in particular but not solely Chernukhin.

If you tell me what the problem is I can fix it, but as you reverted it the article did not make sense.

Best

Kendalandrew I am not the first editor to have reverted your addition of such content to our article on Lubov Chernukhin. And if you want to discuss it with me, why have you re-added it without waiting for a response? Anyway, please see Wikipedia:Biographies of living persons. The second para states "All quotations and any material challenged or likely to be challenged must be supported by an inline citation to a reliable, published source. Contentious material about living persons (or, in some cases, recently deceased) that is unsourced or poorly sourced—whether the material is negative, positive, neutral, or just questionable—should be removed immediately and without waiting for discussion." I have removed your uncited content accordingly. I am also copying this to Talk:Lubov Chernukhin as others may wish to contribute. Edwardx (talk) 16:44, 19 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Notability

[edit]

Many people contribute to many political campaigns and charities. Not sure if that warrants a BLP article on the contributor, which seems to be the only possible aspect of notability. Granted, being the "biggest female political donor in UK history" (per the Guardian source), is notable, but surely there's some guideline or policy against including political contributions and donations. Bill Gate's has a section (not terribly large), but that also isn't the bulk of the article. --PerpetuityGrat (talk) 23:44, 19 June 2021 (UTC) She is discussed as a possible Life Peer in Boris Johnsons Resignation Honours. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 79.238.87.125 (talk) 19:59, 24 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
