I'll repeat why I object to this article's deletion. The article is young, but it will improve over time. I will add a photograph and more content once I return to Chicago. There are two independent source articles exclusively covering the co-op given in the article, and a link to the co-op's website. MOSAIC differs only from the infamous Berkeley co-ops (which each have lengthy articles), for instance, in that it has far fewer members and thus, a smaller operation. It is the only co-op shared by Northwestern students and the only NASCO co-op in Evanston. -Fendersmasher 03:59, 13 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

updates

[edit]

I am MOSAIC's current webmaster/recruitment chair, and will be maintaining and improving this page. MykellM 01:02, 10 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I suggest a picture of the house, and not too large. Fendersmasher 00:22, 11 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I don't have a picture of the house. BTW, who are you? MykellM 02:56, 16 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I suggest not going into the details of how much you charge for meals, and the like, or it may end up deleted as an advertisement.

I also suggest reading WP:COI, and I have tagged the article accordingly. DGG (talk) 05:07, 2 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

MykellM: We know each other in person and can discuss the article's content in person. I also removed the Decision Making and Meal plan sections, to comply with WP:COI and issues of relevancy. Thus, I'm also removing the COI tag. -Fendersmasher (talk) 02:11, 15 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Updates to a long-dormant article

[edit]

Hi folks, I'm a current resident of MOSAIC Co-op and I saw that this article hadn't been edited in more than eight years. I'm aware of Wikipedia's conflict of interest policy, so I limited my edits to the following changes which I assume will be uncontroversial:

  • adding in-line citations for some unsourced claims, and adding a References list at the end of the article
  • slight grammatical/formatting tweaks for clarity
  • removing an unsourced claim about a second house
  • adding "MOSAIC Co-op" as another name for the organization (being the name by which most people know the co-op), and creating an appropriate article redirect for that name
  • adding [citation needed] for one unsourced claim (it's correct, and I know there's an appropriate external reference floating around, I just need to find it)

I realize that I should hold off making more substantive changes on my own since I have a conflict of interest, although I might be interested in doing so at some point in the future so that the article reflects changes that have taken place in MOSAIC since 2007. WP:COI seems to suggest having other editors review my proposed changes to ensure they are neutral, etc. - how would I go about requesting that? -Rochdale160 (talkcontribs) 04:41, 17 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]
