Expansion[edit]

This article should really expound more on Mapleshade's audio philosophy and practices. (Such as using no compression, EQ, sound boards, or other electronic equipment, for example.) Some history on the formation of the organization would also be helpful. Anyone want to help me?PiccoloNamek (talk) 20:19, 7 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Record company and label[edit]

My edit was in the lead was changed, in good faith I believe. In its three-volume print version, Grove makes a disctinction between record company and record label. Sometimes an organization like Mapleshade is both. I would like to read some clarification about the distinction. I do think there is one, unless Grove being slopppy.
