Palce of Birth?[edit]

I found in book "Ulice a namestia Bratislavy. Stare Mesto" (Streets and sqares of Bratislava. Oldtown) written in 1905 by hungarian historian Tivadar Ortvay, that Marie Heriette was born on Venturska street in Downtown of Bratislava (Pressburg in German, Pozsoniy in Hungarian) as well as her smaller brother. I have only paper version of the first slovak edition of that book printed at 2006 (ISBN 80-89218-12-1) page number 28. Can we check it in somehow? --Kirill guevara (talk) 10:44, 1 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The French and German WPs give place of birth as "Pest" rather than "Buda" by which they may mean the now united city of "Budapest".--Johnsoniensis (talk) 18:42, 25 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Related with her husband ?[edit]

I'm not sure, but I have read, that Marie Henriette is related with her husband ?

Is it true or false ?

--AndreaMimi (talk) 17:55, 22 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

True, as is the case with most European royalty. Their closest blood relationship was double second cousins once removed. Marie Henriette was the great-granddaughter of two couples who were also great-great-grandparents of her husband, Leopold II: Francis I, Holy Roman Emperor and Maria Theresa of Austria were one couple and Charles III of Spain and Maria Amalia of Saxony were the other.

The descents are as follows:
After that, their next closest relationship is that of sixth cousins once removed, then double half-sixth cousins once removed (once MH is higher in descent and once LII is higher in descent). It gets more distant after that. Hope this helps! Charles 18:11, 22 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

@Charles Thank your for your help. I'm very happy. I have a question to you: Why can I correct something in the articles ? I'm here with a nickname and a password. What shell I do ? Thank you also in this case. --AndreaMimi (talk) 19:17, 22 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Andrea, you can edit any article just as you edit this talk page, by click "edit page" at the top of the article. If you are having further problems with this, you can post at Wikipedia:Help desk or Wikipedia:New contributors' help page. Or you could also put {{helpme}} on your talk page and someone with better knowledge can stop by and help you. Charles 18:22, 22 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

@Charles You are very helpfull. Thank you very much. I try to correct some details on the article "Marie Antoinette", but it's not allowed for me. Let's try it again. See you soon. With the best wishes. --AndreaMimi (talk) 18:39, 22 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
