Neutrality

[edit]

I have some concerns about the neutrality of the "Controversy" section. It seems to be written with an anti-Catholic slant, using words such as "despite overwhelming evidence", "ultra-Catholic", and "propaganda". I don't have any problems with the section being there, but I think that it could be changed to make it more neutral. --Slon02 (talk) 01:48, 9 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I'll try to fix it, but consider that some italian newspapers are actually "ultra-catolic" (like the "Osservatore Romano", official newspaper of the most conservative wing of the Vatican); propaganda is the correct term, consider that in 1950s Italy socialism and catholics parties were in a harsh fight, and both sides owned newspapers used to spin public opinion; evidences were "overwhelming" as in "beyond any reasonable doubt". Maybe there's a better way to put it. --Jollyroger (talk) 09:02, 22 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
