Proposed merge of Kreielsheimer Promenade into McCaw Hall

[edit]

A design element of McCaw Hall, rather than a separate attraction or feature. SounderBruce 22:44, 8 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Support Sources describe them together, there's no need for the entrance area to McCaw Hall to be covered in a separate article... Reywas92Talk 14:51, 13 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose per WP:NOTMERGE, which says a merge should be avoided if "the separate topics could be expanded into longer standalone (but cross-linked) articles", or "the topics are discrete subjects warranting their own articles". Here's an example of a source with detailed coverage of the promenade, which is more than just an entrance to the venue. It is a large public plaza and pedestrian corridor with multiple artworks that has also hosted events. I am working to expand the article further, and I should note the McCaw Hall article could also use an expansion. None of the text here is repeated in the venue page, and there's no need to make the McCaw page heavily weighted with text about the promenade, which is actually just one minor feature of the venue in terms of its overall description and history. ---Another Believer (Talk) 17:30, 13 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Closing, with no merge, given the uncontested objection with stale discussion. Klbrain (talk) 20:45, 25 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
