The result of the move request was: Moved to McCullough Park (Houston, Texas). Though this is the only McCullough Park for which we currently have a Wikipedia article, there are other McCullough Parks in Minnesota and in Lubbock, Texas. The name Independence Park is not even unique in Houston. EdJohnston (talk) 00:29, 19 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Independence Park (Houston, Texas)McCullough Park – The park was renamed in 1929 to James McCullough Park, but is in the NHRP as Independence Park. --Relisted. George Ho (talk) 18:40, 11 July 2015 (UTC) 0x0077BE (talk · contrib) 20:42, 4 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

  • If McCullough Park is the common name, then there is no need to include "Houston, Texas" as a disambiguator since there are not other Wikipedia articles by that name. ---Another Believer (Talk) 21:13, 4 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Good point, I'll update the request. I'm fairly sure McCullough Park is the common name - I found it when I was taking photos of NHRP Historic Sites, looking for Independence Park, and all the signs say "McCullough Park". The Texas Historical Commission citation seems to indicate its name was changed in 1929, and there's another park in Houston called Independence Park located in Spring Branch, so I'm pretty sure McCullough Park is the common name. 0x0077BE (talk · contrib) 21:58, 4 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]
