Problem?

[edit]

"The Protocols of the Elders of Zion" isnt that a bit harsh? the protocols didnt appear until ~35 years later and have been instrumental in the holocaust. generally why are the negative opinions about "the memoirs" ("forgery", "utter nonsense", "protocols.." so pronounced in this arcticle, smells loke pov-pushing but what do i know...

Personal reflections

[edit]

We are writing an encyclopedia. Statements must be referenced and we should not allow our personal opinions to be apparent in our edits. I have again just reverted to a reasonably well-referenced version. You might find it helpful to have a look at Wikipedia:Plain and simple before trying any more editing. "nonsense"

[edit]

To the person who reverted me. Simply calling something "utter nonsense" is too vague without an explanation on why it would be so. Nasluds (talk) 23:34, 18 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

The statement appears in the following sentence in the introduction:
It has been described as "apocryphal",[2] a "forgery",[3] "utter nonsense",[4] and "an Anglophobic variation on `The Protocols of the Elders of Zion`”.[2]
Saying that the book is "utter nonsense" means that the book is not actually true. There is a citation for the statement.-- Toddy1 (talk) 04:10, 20 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
As I said too vague unless you want to change the wording to "false" Nasluds (talk) 21:32, 27 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]
