guano/"birdshit"[edit]

Guano is not the reason why the mercs are send to the island....Colonel Merrick clearly talkes about minerals as the reason why he doesn't want to blow up the caves. The two businessmen only come up with "batshit"/"birdshit" after Keefer intimidates them....--115.186.137.193 (talk) 04:35, 3 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Release dates[edit]

There seems to be some degree of confusion over the release date for this film. Most sources say 1995, but there are a handful that say 1994. I found a reliable source that documents Dimension releasing the film in 1995, so I went with that. If someone can find a better source that says it was released in 1994, that'd be fine. Also, I can't find any documentation on the initial VHS and DVD release dates, but there's probably something out there that I missed. I'd prefer that we not use online stores like Amazon.com, as they are very promotional. The Los Angeles Times review that I found seems to be a VHS review, but it doesn't explicitly mention a release date.

If people want to change the release date back to 1994, that's OK with me. I would prefer to see a reliable source that documents the release date, though. NinjaRobotPirate (talk) 19:58, 13 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

An IP editor has reverted the change I made. I'll see if he can come up with a source for the Japanese release date. NinjaRobotPirate (talk) 16:08, 14 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Country of origin[edit]

@Devil David: Do you have an actual source for your edits? There's a reliable source, the British Film Institute, in the article now that gives the country of origin as the United States, Spain, and Thailand. If you can cite a reliable source, then you suggest you post it here. Keep in mind that the IMDB is not a reliable source, so don't try to use that.
