Redirection

I think the Mid Day Meals should redirect to Mid Day Meals Scheme and Not Lunch. "Mid Day Meals" in India is not equivalent to Lunch. Though you may be technically correct, I am afraid that your edit does not reflect the truth  Doctor Bruno  11:34, 29 April 2007 (UTC)

I have addressed this point on my talk page. Please do not cross-post. Gaius Cornelius 13:10, 29 April 2007 (UTC)

Fair use rationale for Image:Mgr33mmdla1R.jpg

Image:Mgr33mmdla1R.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

I have deleted the broken link on "Nutrition and Health". Though it was a minor edit, i just want the people who are watching this wikipage to know that it has been deleted --Ankithreya (talk) 10:37, 7 December 2007 (UTC)

Removed Naandi Foundation

There was a copied advertisement about the Naandi Foundation in its own section. I just removed it. Lots of organizations get government grants to implement this program and they all cannot be in this article. If a list of organizations is to be made then that would be fine, and on the articles for the specific organizations there can be info about how they participate. But any individual group's participation is not relevant - they are just implementing a government program and to put them here would be too advertising. Some edits and issues

So I decided I wanted to make some relatively minor copyediting edits and maybe tag some issues, and I ended up changing the section structure a bit. Mainly I consolidated the sections, making some formerly independent sections into subsections etc, and I also changed some of the wording which I found to be a bit un-neutral. I had the thought that, as a person with no significant knowledge of the actual content of the article, that I discuss this a bit first, but I like it much better this way, and I did not really change any content. Anyway, I thought it would just be polite to put this up here in case anyone wants to say anything. anamedperson (talk) 07:32, 20 July 2013 (UTC)

Use of names of cities

I have reverted back Mumbai to Bombay ,as in 1942 it was Bombay and not Mumbai. Keri , Please correct me if my side of argument is wrong. Commons sibi (talk) 12:45, 26 July 2013 (UTC)

No, no, that's fine, you are correct. But while I have your attention, would you please take note of Wikipedia:Bare URLs and try to avoid using just the url as a reference? Appreciated. Keri (talk) 12:56, 26 July 2013 (UTC)
Sure , I will take care of it and will start using the full citation from now on , about which I was not fully aware before . Thanks for the guidance .Commons sibi (talk) 13:23, 26 July 2013 (UTC)

In the private sector participation of the article , the users are trying to add specific names of NGO with intent of advertisement , without providing valid references. That could to be avoided.Commons sibi (talk) 17:21, 27 July 2013 (UTC)
