I specifically indicated I had the permission of the artist, which I do, in the history section on the creation of the page.

Yes, but you have no proof. Anyone could claim they have such permission. --Fyre2387 (talkcontribs) 23:25, 25 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

FYI - I had specifically added a line as I created the page about the bio section, which I have made some changes to, and will be adding more material, as having the direct permission of the artist, which I do, to use this work and anything else I wish from his sites. I have made similar arrangements with Derek Sherinian and Scott Kinsey as appropriate. Please remove your CSD request. Thank you. Tvccs 23:23, 25 October 2006 (UTC)

What sort of proof would you like? I can forward his e-mail, or you are welcome to bother him via his MySpace site, the link of which is provided on the page. Tvccs 23:27, 25 October 2006 (UTC)

It would be helpful if...

[edit]

Before immediately jumping on the CSD bandwagon, and yes I know there are a zillion people here that copy stuff, that the CSD requester would check the user page of the page creator to see if there was evidence to suggest a CSD was not necessary, or send a message to the user, who had just created the page, before tagging it for CSD to avoid the unneeded headaches. 23:48, 25 October 2006 (UTC)

I have converted the CSD to a standard copyvio. This will provide you the time to verify your claim of permission. The instructions for doing so are listed on the template. They must be met in full or the article will be deleted. The content must be licensed under the GFDL to be used on Wikipedia. -- JLaTondre 00:12, 26 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
