What evidence is there that the "last name" of Bertin's drag character is "X Change"? Have any publications referred to her as such? Wording like X Change was announced as one of fourteen contestants is pretty awkward and I'm fairly sure lacks precedent in secondary sources. I'm not sure referring to her as "Change" is any better, though. MOS:LASTNAME reads People who are best known by a pseudonym should be subsequently referred to by their pseudonymous surnames, unless they do not include a recognizable surname in the pseudonym (e.g. Sting, Snoop Dogg, the Edge), in which case the whole pseudonym is used. It seems like this exception might be relevant. Umimmak (talk) 06:50, 11 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]
The information concerning Monet's/Kevin's birthplace seems a bit contradictory. Broinx12 is cited as having said that Bertin was born in Brooklyn, but other biographical information indicates that Bertin was born in St. Lucia (and he references living in the Carribbean during his time on the show), and didn't move to New York City until he was eleven years old. I have difficulty determining which sources are more accurate, and perhaps until such matters can be resovled, it might be best to leave the birth data and early life information out. So far the only things I've been able to establish conclusively is information about his time in college and his work as a classically trained singer, none of which is in this article.
