This article could also use a section describing the relation between the event and Inoki's cameo in The Bad News Bears Go to Japan. I'm unclear as to what extent or not this may have been covered by RS, however.RadioKAOS (talk) 06:42, 4 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Copied with little change from web site

Much of this article is pretty much just an edited down version of this article. [1] It needs to be re-written to avoid claims of plagiarism. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 128.151.71.16 (talk) 21:03, 10 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I haven't had time to look at the Guardian piece, but the tone of the article, what information the article contains (and perhaps more importantly, what it doesn't contain) and how fully fleshed out it was right out of the gate did raise some flags with me. Unfortunately, this is one of those events for which tons of sources exist, but due to time and language considerations, Google isn't necessarily going to make those sources magically appear. Also unfortunately, if this gets reported through official channels as a copyvio, in all likelihood some admin will come strolling along, making a big production worthy of Busby Berkeley, and delete or gut the article with zero regard for the notability of the topic and whether appropriate weight is reflected in the end. When that happens, it's normally accompanied by a "let someone else fix it" attitude, all the while making no corresponding effort to alert potential someone elses. Article needs updating

[edit]

It should mention that Inoki: 1. went back into politics in Japan and is currenly in office. 2. converted to Islam in 1990. These two have sources in his own bio article. I wonder if he became a Muslim because of his friendship with Ali? 5Q5 (talk) 10:57, 7 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
