Hello RadioKAOS! First, thank you for all the contributions you've made to the First National Bank Alaska article. We've enjoyed seeing it become more robust as those with an interest in Alaska businesses and history add information. We see that you've added a banner suggesting that the article include more secondary and/or tertiary sources. Forgive us the question, as we are not experts on this platform, but do you have any specific suggestions on how we might help to improve the article? Without editing it ourselves, obviously! We've discussed asking employees and customers to contribute their knowledge and experience with FNB, with an emphasis that their additions avoid promotional commentary. Would that be advisable? CDPs[edit]

First off, I agree with tagging the section as incomplete. While I don't do it anymore, for years I watched many county articles nationwide, and as such I've often seen people add non-CDPs to CDP sections, having misunderstood what a CDP is. For this reason, we really really need to have an article on a community (or a citation to the Census Bureau or the GNIS) before putting it into a CDP section on a county or borough article. I definitely wouldn't object to a restoration with citation! I don't think that 1980 or 1990 CDPs have been suppressed; it's simply that we don't have information easily available for them, and most people aren't going to go digging for information to write about them. Meanwhile, lots of people have been writing about the new 2010 CDPs; presumably Alaska's not gotten much attention because...it's Alaska and not many people pay attention to it. Meanwhile, my removal of the Fairbanks neighborhoods was a matter of practicality and standard practise — nationwide, we don't include lists of city neighborhoods in county articles. They definitely deserve to be mentioned, but in the city article or in a piece of prose in the borough article's not-yet-created history section; including places that are neither cities nor unincorporated areas in this section is at variance with what we do nationwide, since Fairbanks neighborhoods are already covered with a link to Fairbanks. Hey there- I was reading over your post on Nytends talk pager and I am willing to be schooled/taught about Alaska so that I can contribute small town articles etc etc. My main are of interest is of course coal towns in KY and WV and PA and TN and OH, however, Alaska is a fascinating place to me as well. Susan Butcher article[edit]

Not that you don't have plenty on your plate, but the Susan Butcher article has large chunks that are straight rip-off from Source 1. I added the NYT obit to references, but would like to have a couple other sources as I am lousy at rewrites and pussyfooting around text. If you would care to tackle the rewrite, great, but if not could you point me to another RS? Most of the external links are dead.

What would be most useful at this point would be if you could somehow get the text of the Talbott article (ref 14) from the News-Miner which seems to have been a main source for the version of the article I reverted to. If we knew what parts of that article were sourced then we would know what we need to beef up. If you have time you could check and insert inline citations (I guessed on some Talbotts), otherwise i will tackle it when I get back. No crisis, the article is as good or better than it was at the beginning of May.

Alaska political corruption probe[edit]

I've been trying to tighten up the Alaska political corruption probe page, which needs a lot of work. I've done quite a bit over time and recently. However, my efforts to get irrelevant and apparently libelous materials and harangues off the page have been frustrated by one or two posters (there may be sock puppetry there). You usually have some good suggestions and you've been involved in editing the page for some time. Have you any thoughts about it that might be helpful? I posted prior text to the BLP Noticeboard last night. Got some good feedback from one editor. I think there's been more but I've just gotten back on line after being off since the wee hours this a.m. so I'll look for that in a minute.

You don't see anything that ties the whole matter into the actual subject of the article because there isn't anything. You're right about Lisa, of course. There was a very tenuous connection between her land deal in Kenai and the Polar Pen investigation through Bob Penney's connection to Ted's "chalet." But the connection was remote. In the case of Duncan and ASEA, there's none, of course. There was actually a connection between Polar Pen and Ketchikan. Frank Prewitt, Weimar and Cornell wanted to build a rent-a-pen on Gravina Island, with the feds pitching in a quarter of a billion to build the necessary bridge and an intertie. It didn't go anywhere because the Borough Assembly knew better and Bill W. and Frank P. turned their attention to where they thought they had better action: In Wrangell, where Robin Taylor was involved, and Whittier, where the mayor, the city administrator (for a "city" of 182 people), and the harbormaster all had their fingers in the pie. I don't think the schemers ever wanted to build in Whittier, where there's no labor force, the tunnel problem, tsunamis, avalanche and probably a potential Superfund problem, but it was the mechanism they were using to get the state to change the law to favor their various schemes. If they were able to do that, they could have built anywhere. Knowles wasn't going for it, as were many legislators who gave it the fish eye. In addition to the above grifters, Jerry Ward, Loren Leman and Eldon Mulder were also looking to score big with Cornell or whomever. Frank M. wasn't enthusiastic about the various Cornell/Prewitt/Weimar schemes that included Sitka, Nome (!), and Mat Su as well as those others. There was some talk about Fairbanks, too, but legislators such as Bud Fate put the kibosh on that notion. Uncle Ted got the dough, almost, for the Gravina bridge, but Tom Coburn put a stop to it.

Lindauer[edit]

I was reading the page for Susan Lindauer, as her name came up in a search I did. It's an OK article, though I wasn't sure what to do with an ADN link for an article behind a paywall. I did insert the reporter's name and edited the URL. Then I hit on the link to her dad's page. I couldn't hardly believe it. There's almost nothing in there about his 1990 "campaign" for governor, when he stepped aside for Wally, very late in the game. There's only the briefest mention of his 1998 race for governor, nothing about Tony or Robin or Jerry (who also stepped aside, but for Coghill in 1990, only to join him again). I think that the page has been well scrubbed.

Hi. Please do not add unsourced material to articles, as you did with this edit to Sgt. Slaughter. Material in articles, especially that which goes to a subject's notability, must be accompanied by citations of secondary sources, which a veteran editor like you should know by now. The WWE's own website is not a secondary source, that's a primary source. In addition, those sources need to be in the article, and not in an edit summary. "The sky is blue" does not. Oogruk[edit]

Good timing with the oogruk post. I'd just come across two Alaskan rivers that I was curious about. Is Anikovik River derived from anak (excrement) as is Anaktuvuk Pass? The other is Itkillik River. Would the use of Itkillik be derogatory or just a simple statement? Just noticed that could be spelt "itqiliq" in other dialects. One other thing. My knowledge of Inupiaq is rather limited, but place names are often portmanteau words. I believe the ending "vik" or "vuk" refers to a place or direction. Ukpiaġvik is the place (Barrow) to hunt snowy owls. Kaktovik (on Barter Island) is the place of seine fishing. Anaktuvuk is the place of caribou droppings, and "anak" (prounounced "uhn-uck") refers to any excrement, the "tu" is from "tuttu" (caribou). I don't know what "anik" means; it might mean sister or brother. The name for fermented seal flippers is "utruk," I think. There are different dialects in Alaska, mostly divided by the North Slope and Kobuk river. Anaktuvuk is where the mountain Inupiat live. I was surprised to hear the difference in the pronunciation of word for the Kivgik festival, for instance, with the North Slope dialect compared to those coming from Kivilina. I think that generally the people from the northern tip of Greenland southwest to Unalakleet can understand each other more easily than Spanish speakers can understand Portuguese. Thanks. I should have remembered that anik means a "woman's brother", as it is used here also at the Inuktitut Living Dictionary. Can't link directly to the word. That shows it used in Siglitun, Labrador and Inuinnaqtun. Itqiliq means Cree/Dene or Indian (First Nations) but I don't think I have ever heard it used in any way other than an insult. It's in both the links as well. The dictionary gives several spellings for caribou, tuttu, tuttuk, tuttuq and the most common, tuktu. Most Inuinnaqtun speakers (Cambridge Bay, Kugluktuk, Ulukhaktok) will have no difficulty in understanding other dialects to the west but will say that they can't understand people further east. Sometimes you will hear people from one community complain that the other two communities don't speak Inuinnaqtun correctly. Sylvia Sullivan[edit]

I was trying to remember the name of the bag lady/creature from another planet who ran for US Senator and/or Governor in the late '90s. Was it Sylvia Sullivan? She may have been the first statewide candidate in Alaska to run her campaign from a shopping cart. I remember her on Ratnet, I think, being interviewed wearing a beret that was covered with some reflecting attachments. Every time she moved, they flashed from the camera lights. Either that, or she was getting signals through the fillings in her teeth and interference from them in the ether was causing those sparks. Then again, she may have been a plant to make Theresa Obermeyer look more "normal." Curious, I Googled her name and found this:

The last time I heard of anything like this happening, it was to the 1998 Alaska Independence Party (AIP) gubernatorial candidate, Sylvia Sullivan. She won the primary, but the party leadership disavowed her, refused to allow an AIP member to be on the ticket with her as Lt. I know first-hand of what I speak, as I ran into Sylvia online in 2005. She was quite the tinfoil hat wearer and ALLCAPS RANTER (her critics called her PSYLVIA PSULLIVAN). On the other hand, the AIP is a fringe party, and is hardly in a position to complain about oddball behavior.
My revised hypothesis is that Sylvia may have been too liberal for them. Check out her official page and notice all the "helping the little guy" credentials. I'm now more enamored of this idea, as the AIP is associated with the ultra-right Constitution Party, the direct descendant of George Wallace's American Independent Party.

Still, she did get 4,000+ votes, I'm guessing from Todd Palin and other loopy Lou's who neglected to abide by cues to exit stage right. Despite the AIP endorsement, the Lindauer/Ward ticket got less votes than Robin Taylor, a future unindicted member of the CBC, in my estimation. Please feel free to erase these comments. I certainly did confuse the two. I had remembered that "Sylvia" was a nutcase who ran for statewide office, and I thought she was from Fairbanks, but when I read about Sylvia Sullivan from Valdez, I thought I'd just misremembered her home town. Mead Treadwell page[edit]

I read the Treadwell page and it sounded like it had been written by his campaign. It's hagiographic. I mean, Mother Theresa wouldn't get such promotional writeup. Even George Washington chopped down a cherry tree. I see you did a lot of work on the article. What bugs me about the AGF response is that most editors who seem to have better sense still accept that defense when the person making the anti-candidate or promotional edits claims to be NPOV. Alaska[edit]

I have noticed you have changed my edit on the Alaska page. As you have pointed out, Byron Mallott was elected on Bill Walker's unity ticket. If you are not aware, a unity ticket is where two candidates from two different parties run together as running mantes. Mallott managed to secure the Democratic party's nomination for Governor. He chose, however, to merge his campaign with Walker and be his running mate. You stated that Bill Walker indentifies himself as a Republican, but he left the GOP to run for governor as an independant. You were correct in stating that Mallott is a known Democrat. However, states can have governors and lt. governors of different political parties. Walker and Mallott are no different. I would like to reference the List of current United States lieutenant governors page to you. There is are two maps on this page that have Alaska in blue, showing that Mallott is represented as a Democrat. Write back if you have any more questions. I would prefer not to get into an edit war. I was looking at the page and checked the history. This is something I don't understand. There's an entry as if in an infobox, but it doesn't visibly show in the article. It indicates that Jake died in Austin, TX, two years ago. I'm not sure how he'd feel about that. The Mark Twain quote comes to mind. I am back-the Governor of Alaska Bill Walker ordered the flags in Alaska to lower at half mast. According to the press release Bettisworth in the Alaska Legislature in 1957-1958 and 1981-1985. I checked the 100 years Alaska Legislature website and Bob Bettisworth served in the legislature from 1979-1984 which his obituary also stated. AK pols cleanup[edit]

Hi, again. I was editing some AK politicians pages and was trying to sort out Senate Districts. I found Hollis French's article to be in need of a great deal of work and cleaned it up as best I could, being a bit tight for time. I found that Ellis, French and Gardner were all listed simultaneously as minority leader. Then I went to Johnny Ellis' article and found that an editor had inserted his birth name as "Dennis William Egan." I expect the editor was rushing and on 23 March inserted that info. I went to his or her contribution page, and found that maybe 3,000 edits had been made subsequently, almost all of them regarding elected politicians from around the world or actors on the world stage (i.e. Victoria Nuland). A few of those edits followed yours that you made to Andy Josephson's article. I wonder if you could take a look at the edits made by him or her to see if they're correct? I had changed Johnny's supposed birth name to Johnny Ellis, but I'll go back and remove that rather than research it to make sure that's correct. Well, you've been quiet so long I was quite surprised to get this much of a response. I figured you were probably busy as hell or burned out. Other than getting one, how does the PFD affect your life? I notice it's over $2,000 once again. Thanks for getting back to me. As usual, you're very helpful. I couldn't imagine how all that crap about French stayed on his (or for anyone's) article for so long... I was just appalled when I read it. I left the business about him claiming to be a marine, because I had no knowledge of the matter at all. I didn't know about the tenure issue. I knew that Johnny had served for quite some time, in the House before the Senate. I was surprised his article was so scanty. I also was aware that Lyman had served for a long time, but didn't recall how long. I knew of Hohman only by rep and through mutual (now long dead) friends, who liked him a lot and were distressed by his demise. When I started poking around in the AK legislators articles, and saw the succession for Johnny's seat, I was surprised not to see an article for Pat Pourchot, given his long and interesting career. Now Ogan, he was forgettable IMHO. I think a Vic Fischer article would be warranted too, but I'm hardly the one to do it. I wonder if Charles Wolforth edits Wikipedia? I don't know if what you're referring to is my comments on CA-23's talk page, but that's quite a district, which has wandered around central California like Moses in the desert. So I recently changed Mallott's party affiliation in Template:Current Alaska statewide political officials to Democratic from Independent. You reverted this edit claiming that sources indicated he was a Democrat. Washington DC[edit]

You have been mislead by Good olfactory's false accusations. The Germany issue is a red herring that has no relevance to Washington, DC. The District of Columbia existed in no way, shape, means or form in 1789. The only reason the Germany categories have some chance of surviving is because there was an idea of Germany before 1871. There was not any idea of Washington DC before 1790, and it was not actually created until after that date. In 1789 no one envisioned it, and actions in Georgetown were not in it. His ideas lead to placing Mosques built in 1789 as in Israel or actions done in the Indus Valley in 1789 as in Pakistan, although the person who invented that name would not be born for nearly a century. Stale drafts[edit]

There is a rule that articles in draft space which have an {{AfC submission}} tag may be deleted if they have not been touched for more than six months. Unfortunately there is no rule for articles in that space without the tag but I think that the same rule should apply. I have put in User:RadioKAOS/stale drafts a list of yours - there may be others where you were not the last person to edit. (In fact having created it, I realise that list is small beer compared to the stuff in your user space.)

Another view is that keeping drafts without submitting could be considered to be using Wikipedia as a free host.

I hasten to say that in two respects you are not as bad as the two worst offenders I have seen: the number of articles is much smaller and you seem willing to discuss matters in a calm manner. Edwin Crittenden, etc[edit]

Crittenden is by far the most significant Alaskan architect I have yet to write about. It seems more difficult to find projects of his than those of other practitioners, despite his influence. I do much of my research through Google Books, whose scans are often off. The name "Crittenden" is more often mixed up than "Foss" or "Manley". But, I do have a decent list going, and when I can get my hands on some solid biographical information, an article on him should be forthcoming.

WP:RDH-style question[edit]

In the lower 48, lots of ordinary things such as marriage licenses, property transfers, restaurant inspections by health departments, etc. are routinely handled by counties. Here in Virginia, all the non-county areas are cities, which are constitutionally required to perform such duties themselves or contract out with adjacent counties to do it, and I suppose the same is true in Baltimore, St. Louis, and Carson City, the other three independent cities nationwide. But what about in unincorporated places in the Unorganized Borough? Say you move to Tok and want to buy a house and get married. Do you have to phone some office in Juneau to get this stuff done? The discussion at the AFD is closed, but I read your comment to me. I respect your experience and judgement, and I hope you respect mine. There are many editors, myself included, who disagreed with you and the general consensus was that it was notable. Unfortunately (at times), Wikipedia is a tertiary source which does in fact parrot secondary sources (WP:V, WP:SECONDARY). We go by what those secondary sources say is true, even if we believe it not to be (WP:TRUTH). The article about the cat makes it rather clear that it's a tourist gimmick (as are most animals with honorary positions like the cat at the Algonquin Hotel or Tama (cat). List of Alaskan aviators[edit]

I note that, back in January 2014, you objected to and reverted the deletion of unsourced names from the List of Alaskan aviators as seen in this diff.
The list currently has 119 names, of which 12 have articles, and 107 neither have articles, nor any references whatsoever (let alone references meeting WP:BIO i.e including "significant coverage", which is the requirement for such lists)
On 10 June 2017 I added the "alumni people" template to that article and explained the rules/guidelines for stand-alone lists on the talk page. I also proposed removing all names not complying with Wikipedia:Notability#Stand-alone lists and suggested allowing 2 months before so doing. It is now nearly 4 months later, and I propose carrying this out shortly.

relocated buildings category[edit]

Hi i noticed your adding a "relocated buildings" category to the Pioneer School House building article, an article which did not mention any relocation, and I revised the article to cover its moving, based on NRHP document. Are you working from some list/source of relocated buildings? There's this similar edit by you of the Alaska Native Medical Center, an article which mentions a relocation of the hospital programs and patients and staff to a different building but not any moving of a building. It's a little depressing (but not surprising) to see only one or two Wikipedians are interested in the "Territory-era". As an amateur researcher, I too share your feelings about the questionable research methods used when articles are proposed/nominated for deletion. For example, it took me five minutes to find a magazine article on Kangaroo Kennedy when it was deleted a few years ago. Lee Wyckoff, a rival of Everett Marshall during the 1930s, is another that caught my eye. I wonder if anyone bothered to search under the alternate spelling of "Wycoff"? Andrew Berg Cabin and other NRHP stuff[edit]

Hey, I think you were referring to me with statement that "The nominator appears to lack understanding of the fact that encyclopedic content should cater to a general audience, not to the whims of active editors here to push their favorite topics". I don't get what you mean by that. In general I have a sense that you don't like short stub NRHP articles, and you might blame me for creating some in Alaska or elsewhere, though I believe my contributions in Alaska NRHP articles have been good (e.g. I always have included the good NRHP document as a source and should have always developed some substantial content). But your comment was within Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/South Portland Historic District, where I was objecting to the creation of a too-short-in-my view article. I would think you would agree with me there. If you care to explain, I don't mind hearing your unvarnished thoughts. But really, I do think the development of NRHP articles in Alaska is generally good, and has in general supported other Alaska coverage.

About the NRHP-listed Andrew Berg Cabin built in 1902, about which you commented, please see Talk:Andrew Berg Cabin. By the way, is there or should there be an article about the non-NRHP visitor center or museum where the 1935 cabin is now located? I currently think the 1935 cabin and other Andrew Berg cabins should be covered in the Andrew Berg article, with only the 1902 NRHP-listed one split out. Is there any rhyme or reason to this? RadioKAOS criticizes everyone, but when there are good faith and well enunciated critiques of him, utter silence. No response of any kind. It's as though any criticism is beneath any response from him. Wikipedia doesn't need this type of arrogance among its editors. I would be happy to collaborate with him. I've complimented him several times. I've publically thanked him for edits. And what do I get in return? Constant and vigorous criticism. He follows my every post, even responding on the pages of editors - and in one case, an admin - who I merely let know about a new article. RadioKAOS abused the revert tool, when he and I had a simple disagreement about how to rate an articles importance, and he suggested I should have reviewed numerous years of discussion on the related WikiProject. All of this drama, and abuse of the revert tool, over me rating an article mid importance, and he thought it should be high? I'm not sure where his intellectual arrogance comes from. I try to act the opposite. I make mistakes, but I always assume editors act in good faith. With RadioKAOS, who refuses to acknowledge any mistakes, or any other point of view, it's difficult. If he can't show any more respect than he currently does to other editors, than he needs a long timeout from Wikipedia. I don't say that lightly. The Eileen MacLean article was started; Eileen MacLean was an Alaska state legislator and therefore was notable. I also have started articles about unincorporated communities involving notable people were born and lived in the communities. As for the Tara Sweeney article; her mother Eileen MacLean was mentioned and I thought an article was needed. The Eileen MacLean article was not a coatrack article. Advice on first article?[edit]

Hi RadioKAOS. I recently posted an article on Wikipedia:Sandbox about George Cannon's "Superstars of Wrestling" program which was nationally syndicated in Canada (and parts of the U.S.) during the 1970s and early 80s. Would you consider taking a look at it if you have time? I only know of two or three other Wikipedians with an interest in Territory-era wrestling and I'd really appreciate any feedback or suggestions you could give me. The show isn't very well documented and the article doesn't have as many print sources as I would like. By the way, I don't suppose you ever saw the show while living in Alaska? The show aired in Vancouver on CKVU although I'm not sure how far the signal travelled. The station in Windsor, for example, was powerful enough to reach Toledo, Ohio in the late 1970s. I am not stalking you. I am cleaning up Special:WantedCategories. I hadn't noticed that your edits featured highly on that list, but if they do that's solely because you leave a lot of pages in non-existent categories, contrary to WP:REDNOT.

In this case I had removed Category:Koyukon people because it doesn't exist. In any case, there is no other mention on the page of "Koyukon", so even if the category existed, it should have been removed per WP:CATVER.

While that particular page implies a role by the legislature, it contains a link to a sister page on the same site which correctly refers to the redistricting board and its role. This is representative, though it hasn't been updated to reflect the current cycle.

It's the overall history which may be lacking, typical of what Google and the like will feed you. In Alaska, the legislature has never had a role. Prior to the 1998 amendments, redistricting power was held solely by the governor, who relied upon an advisory board. It was never highly politicized at first. That changed first through intervention by the feds with Reynolds v. Sims and the Voting Rights Act, then later through intervention by the state Supreme Court. Following a slew of court cases, there was already talk of overhauling the system by the time of the second governorship of Wally Hickel. His choice of Tuckerman Babcock to manage the board was controversial enough to perhaps influence enough legislators to favor offering those amendments to voters.

Congressional redistricting is irrelevant in Alaska. Montana lost its second House seat after the 1990 Census and that state has half again as many residents as Alaska. In other words, it'll take a long time or will require drastic circumstances before a second House seat is even a thought. Per WP:CV#Addressing contributors and WP:Contributor copyright investigations/Ardfern, there is authorization and consensus that If contributors have been shown to have a history of extensive copyright violation, it may be assumed that all of their major contributions are likely to be copyright violations, and they may be removed indiscriminately. We have found many copyright violations on airline histories from Ardfern, and thus it is safe to assume that excessively detailed or creative content from them is copied from old issues of Flight International and Airline World. Someone with those issues has confirmed violations enough so that we have presumptively deleted from many airlines. I would feel more comfortable if someone else rewrote the content; I am not a content writer and I cannot write at a GA standard, but this should be reworded as soon as possible considering it is a likely copyvio. I requested a photo of the cathedral. I did not request a photo of people standing in the cathedral where you cannot see the cathedral. The article is not about the people in the photo or the event. You cannot be so dense as to think they are the same thing. Common sense dictates that the photo in the infobox should be a photo of the place the page is about. Instead there is a photo of three people who are not directly associated with the place (the archbishop is now in Seattle). If you cannot provide what was requested, fine. There was no expectation that you would, it was simply a request because you uploaded a photo of another Anchorage church. There are several other Wikipedia pages across various languages that could use a photo of the cathedral. I thought you might be able to help so I reached out to you. The last problematic deletion to come across my watchlist was of a valid cross-namespace redirect (an entry which began as a draft and was subsequently published in article space) deleted under false claim of G13. Most of the others I've observed were of maintenance and project categories because they were empty, ignoring that such categories are occasionally empty by their nature and are tagged as such through use of a template. If you or any other admin has the fortitude to address these problems, please feel free to get back to me for any information you may need, as I'm sure I could come up with a laundry list of damage done to this project through this behavior. Otherwise, I'm very busy these days with other projects and with paying work and need to spend my limited time on here engaging in more productive pursuits. @Arbitrarily0: The Catholic Anchor was the official newspaper of the Archdiocese of Anchorage, so it absolutely fails any definition of a third-party source. When the current archdiocese was created several years ago, they created a new official newspaper and scrubbed any references to former publications. Therefore, Google won't feed you low-hanging fruit, but you'll still find mentions of the Anchor as such. Considering that the article on Holy Family was renamed at a time when the ONLY reference to that name was the parish's Facebook page, I believe our coverage of the Catholic Church deserves more scrutiny than it's been given. Proposal 14, initiated by Kusma, provides for the creation of some minimum suffrage requirements to cast a vote.
Proposals 16 and 16c, initiated by Thebiguglyalien and Soni, respectively, provide for community-based admin desysop procedures. 16 would desysop where consensus is established in favor at the administrators' noticeboard; 16c would allow a petition to force reconfirmation.
Proposal 16e, initiated by BilledMammal, would extend the recall procedures of 16 to bureaucrats.
Proposal 17, initiated by SchroCat, provides for "on-call" admins and 'crats to monitor RfAs for decorum.
Proposal 18, initiated by theleekycauldron, provides for lowering the RfB target from 85% to 75%.
Proposal 24, initiated by SportingFlyer, provides for a more robust alternate version of the optional candidate poll.
Proposal 25, initiated by Femke, provides for the requirement that nominees be extended-confirmed in addition to their nominators.
Proposal 27, initiated by WereSpielChequers, provides for the creation of a training course for admin hopefuls, as well as periodic retraining to keep admins from drifting out of sync with community norms.
Proposal 28, initiated by HouseBlaster, tightens restrictions on multi-part questions.
