A cursory search didn't reveal any comparisons by professional critics, but they may be out there. I read the premise and although I've only read the Moshfegh book the differences seem pretty superficial past the title and vague contours of the plot. — Mainly 23:58, 30 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]
