Feedback from New Page Review process

[edit]

I left the following feedback for the creator/future reviewers while reviewing this article: Background section needs citations and or references. I added some stuff to one of your references. Overall, this looks like a pretty good article..

Dear Hildeoc,

please understand there are synonymous terms, that are not necessarily referred by other languages word by word in the original language, etc.(KIENGIR (talk) 22:23, 4 August 2020 (UTC))[reply]

Dear @KIENGIR:, please confer the corresponding German article, where you will notice that Herrenrasse is in fact the dominant term – as opposed to Herrenvolk. Apart from that, I do wish to once again point out to you: Herrenrasse means "master race", Herrenvolk "master people / nation", and that a corresponding explicit distinction between these two different terms is indeed made at least in German within the pertinent scientific discourse – as can be seen i. a. from the said German Wikipedia article as well.--Hildeoc (talk) 22:23, 5 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
What do you mean by dominant, if the article discuss both of the term and Herrenvolk at the first place? You don't have the explain me the third time, I understand German. We need to know what is in the source referred, etc.(KIENGIR (talk) 22:29, 5 August 2020 (UTC))[reply]
@KIENGIR: By "dominant" I simply mean the fact that Herrenrasse actually appears more often. Also, maybe you should consider citing a different source in order to avoid that awkward mistranslation …--Hildeoc (talk) 22:48, 5 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
The German article discusses both terms one-by-one and then combined. But you know what is in the source exactly, can you access it?(KIENGIR (talk) 22:51, 5 August 2020 (UTC))[reply]
"But you know what is in the source exactly" — No I don't! Why should I? And whatever the source may say, the article still suggests that "master race" is the appropriate translation for the German term Herrenvolk while it isn't … Sorry but I really don't know what else I have to come up with until you get that.--Hildeoc (talk) 23:11, 5 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
I just asked a question, and yes we should know what is in the source. You were already told you don't have to explain again what you explained, I have no understandting problems.(KIENGIR (talk) 10:26, 6 August 2020 (UTC))[reply]
@KIENGIR: "I have no understanding problems" — Well, sorry again, but, unfortunately, you obviously do so …--Hildeoc (talk) 22:58, 6 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
No, I don't have. You have to understand how the process is working. First we have to identify what is in the source, then the discussion go further (it does not mean the outcome could not be indentical with your preferred change, but if once we got into the issue, should be investigated thoroughly).(KIENGIR (talk) 11:59, 8 August 2020 (UTC))[reply]
