Notable alumni

[edit]

I see the notable alumni section was alphabetized. Thanks for the guideline, but should it also be last name first, (comma) first name? The order seems strange to me now.

I plan on adding much more in the next week or so, including photos and references. Thanks for the feedback. LoriLarson (talk) 00:46, 15 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

First-name, last-name, alphabetized by last name, seems to be the convention, both for school notable-alumni lists and for city notable-residents lists. I speculate that the convention was adopted as an alternative to order-of-importance, which'd lead to endless battles over whether, say, a two-term US senator was more important than Johnny Carson. Alphabetical is unambiguous and doesn't involve value judgements.
If you're thinking about adding significantly to this article, you might want to read the article guidelines at WikiProject Schools (WP:WPSCH/AG). Those will suggest both things that you might want to add to the article and things that you should avoid. Ammodramus (talk) 14:04, 15 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Video

[edit]

I came across this video of the old North Platte High School. It's since been torn down and replaced with the current building. It doesn't seem encyclopedia-quality, but it's a valuable resource. Nothing more polished exists. Is it worth posting? Here's the link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7fEqlls_l-E&list=PLneSim0q_UB5HLFJg3hjkk_UrxEvdLhF1

Improvement

[edit]

Hello! I would like to work on some improvements to this article to bring it to at least C class (maybe even further) and I would like to know if anyone has improvements they would like to be made. ― Blaze The WolfTalkBlaze Wolf#6545 16:32, 8 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
