Split articles

I don't think splitting the article is necessary for the 2006 and 2007 teams. I don't see why a 4-8 football team should get its own page. If NU is nationally ranked or invited to a bowl game later in the season, a page for the 2007 team would be reasonable. Cardiac 'Cats

Is there a way to make a new page for 'Cardiac Cats? Is it important enough for a stand alone articleSkokiePride (talk) 23:05, 21 August 2010 (UTC)

I'm not really sure that every close game since 1996 is important, I believe that the overall concept of the 'Cardiac Cats is important to Northwestern's football renaissance and their ability to field competitive teams and the overall concept deserves to be mentioned in the article. Summary of the head coaches' records

This would be a good section to add. Not necessarily a line for each season, but a summary for each coach's total record with Northwestern. Orphaned references in Northwestern Wildcats football

I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of Northwestern Wildcats football's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

Hazing scandal - listed under 'traditions'

It's completely correct and good that the recent hazing scandal that resulted in Fitz's firing is included in this article. However, the current approach (cheekily listing a couple of the hazing practices that came to light after students came forward under "traditions") is probably not ideal.
