Needs Etylomology

This article really needs an explanation, and origin, of the "Silk Stocking Neighborhood." I imagine the point is the rich people in town lived here but where did the name come from etc. (I have no knowledge or I'd fix it myself. Dachande (talk) 13:51, 1 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
