Infobox[edit]

There's a huge "agriculture" infobox half way down the right side of the article. It doesn't seem appropriate in an article about an educational institution. Please comment before I remove it. Thanks. Richard Apple (talk) 19:35, 12 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

the box is appropriate. The college is all about agriculture esp research & education. Many of the article readers are very interested in agriculture Rjensen (talk) 06:29, 13 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
I generally find side navigational boxes such as this one to be more annoying than helpful - they tend to complicate article layout and image placement, they rarely have a collapsed state, and most of the time a navigational box at the bottom of the article would be just as helpful. This one is of some relevance to the article, but not so much that we need to have a prominent sidebar template. Replace it with {{Agriculture footer}}. --Skeezix1000 (talk) 14:06, 13 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Faculty and alumni section[edit]

I found it very confusing that the entire section for notable faculty and alumni was a link to a list of U of Guelph people. There are many notable person who worked or studied at OAC long before it affiliated with U of Guelph, and it is misleading to link only to U of Guelph alumni.
