  • Howard the Duck Are you going to finish the review? SL93 (talk) 23:17, 28 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
    • I'll get this done by the weekend. If that's too late, ypu guys can find another reviewer. Howard the Duck (talk) 23:47, 28 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
      • I've withdrew my nomination that caused this QPQ review, so I won't be proceeding with reviewing this. Howard the Duck (talk) 12:34, 31 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
  • New reviewer needed; previous review has withdrawn without doing a review. Thanks. BlueMoonset (talk) 20:12, 4 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
  • New enough and long enough. Editor has fewer than five nominations and is QPQ-exempt. @Lord of Fantasy: I'd like to suggest replacing refs [27] and [31] to unreliable sources, and I trimmed back one of the existing quotes a bit too. Your hook is very, very wordy. It sort of checks out, but not really. Let's try an ALT1 (and I can vouch it checks out to the original, which I've added alongside the Hindustan Times reprint): Sammi Brie (she/her • tc) 23:17, 4 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
  • ALT1: ... that George R. R. Martin described the version of Osha in the Game of Thrones TV series as "younger, more attractive and more dynamic" than her book counterpart? [1]
  • @Sammi Brie: This does work a lot better than the original one I wrote, and it does get the point across. It's not as long (as you mentioned), which is great in a hook, of course. Although the DYK "fun fact" was really intended to be more about the author's preference over the counterpart, but, again, it does get the point across without being overly specific. I guess this works a bit better -- thanks! Lord of Fantasy (talk) 02:02, 5 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
  • It has been four weeks since the above; let's get this moving. Lord of Fantasy, are you planning to replace the unreliable sources? If not, this nomination seems unlikely to pass. Sammi Brie, is that what you meant in your original comment? Looking at the differences between the original hook and ALT1, is seems we'll need to get another reviewer in here after Lord of Fantasy replaces those sources, since you suggested ALT1. (I've struck the original hook, since It sort of checks out, but not really. BlueMoonset (talk) 03:33, 4 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
  • It has been another two weeks, and Lord of Fantasy has still not responded, despite being pinged on their talk page and having made a few edits in the interim. Lord of Fantasy, if you wish this nomination to succeed, please do the requested source improvements. Otherwise, this will probably close by the end of the year. I hope you return! • Lord of Fantasy still hasn't edited since the 16th and it's been over a week since BM's comment above. Marking for closure. Narutolovehinata5 (talk · contributions) 08:37, 27 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
