Inscription

[edit]

The inscription reading "NON ARMA · NON DUCES · SED VIRGO MARIA ROSARII FECIT NON VICTORIES" does not appear to be correct; the proper nominative plural form of the Latin word "victor" (the definition of which is identical in Latin and English) would be "victores," not "victories." Is there an alternate source that could shed some light on this? It appears that the inscription is transcribed verbatim from the source. 74.102.235.86 (talk) 16:33, 5 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I can't find any source that states the inscription verbatim. The only one I found is the one already used in the article. Perhaps the best way to resolve this would be to find an actual picture of the inscription. Ergo Sum 18:17, 5 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]
