Critique[edit]

I read through this article and find it to be thorough. I myself thought of about 15 concepts which came to mind and then searched for and found them in this article.

If I were going to change anything, then after the format of this article were judged to be stable then I might addi introductory sentences to every section, as is done with Outline_of_globalization#Economic_globalization. This will be repetitive in many cases but if the sections are stable then I think that they should be introduced with some text, because this is an outline and not a list.

Quick explanation of Wikipedia outlines[edit]

"Outline" is short for "hierarchical outline". There are two types of outlines: sentence outlines (like those you made in school to plan a paper), and topic outlines (like the topical synopses that professors hand out at the beginning of a college course). Outlines on Wikipedia are primarily topic outlines that serve 2 main purposes: they provide taxonomical classification of subjects showing what topics belong to a subject and how they are related to each other (via their placement in the tree structure), and as subject-based tables of contents linked to topics in the encyclopedia. The hierarchy is maintained through the use of heading levels and indented bullets. See Wikipedia:Outlines for a more in-depth explanation. The Transhumanist 00:06, 9 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Americanization[edit]

When I learned of outlines, this was the first I explored. I was surprised Americanization isn't mentioned anywhere. However, I don't know if it fits as a concept of the outline or a problem/consequence. It's certainly a major social, economic, and cultural issue in many countries. Should it be added? If so, where? Done @Humphrey Tribble: I've add it and a related term to the outline, in the Sociocultural globalization section, as follows:

Westernization
- Americanization
  - Cocacolonization

Feel free to adjust this change, and the entire outline, as you see fit. The outline is a form of tree structure, and the more representative structure it has, the better.
