Merger proposal[edit]

The following discussion is closed. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section. A summary of the conclusions reached follows.
The result of this discussion was Do Not Merge. The case for merging is based upon the premise that the two subjects are the same, but that premise is apparently based on personal observation of similarities between the two, with no reliable sources to back it up. Commonalities between games appear all the time, especially in 20th century games, and that doesn't necessarily mean one game is "a remake" of the other. And as indicated by Hullubulloo's post, there is not even universal agreement that the games are similar, much less the same. Martin IIIa (talk) 18:39, 28 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

This article and the article Mickey Mouse IV: The Magical Labyrinth make it clear that these are essentially the same game, but with different names and different graphics. On top of that, there are two other games that are also essentially the same. If the same idea for a game has been used four times - once by itself, and three times with different licences - there is no need to create four different articles that only differ by the name of the game. The articles even mention that all four games are basically the same, going as far as to refer to the player character as "Venkman/Mickey/Garfield". JIP | Talk 19:30, 7 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I don't know where the editor who added the "P. P. Hammer" reference got their information, but they are not the same game. They have a similar premise, but other than that there's no crossover between P. P. Hammer and The Real Ghostbusters/Garfield Labyrinth/Mickey Mouse IV. --Hullubulloo (talk) 01:01, 25 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I am the one who done the comparision, They are the same game, but the GB version lacks the bonus game and surely enough some gameplay and cutscene elements are different, but the game is clearly a remake.

Look on youtube for comparisions, if no-one belives me!
