There are literature in the article which confirms the information. It is placed under the section "Literature". --Aciram (talk) 14:54, 10 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

They are not historians. One has a master in art history (Michelle Powell-Smith) and the other is a musician (Michael Kunze).

Michelle Powell-Smith also writes that her source is Michael Kunze.

One persons who has no education in the field of history is not e legit reference.

They do not have to be historians as long as their information is correct. They may also quote and gather their information from people who are. In any case: articles are not speedy deleted for that reason. They can instead be marked with a tag that they need more references. Such references can thereafter be added to the articles. And if some of the information in the article then proves to be false, then the information can be altered with help from the new references--Aciram (talk) 16:57, 10 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Because something is published, it does not mean, that it is correct. Who has checked their facts? Wikipedia do not write about aliens visiting the earth as a lot of books claims. Why? Because the sources must be reliable. There is ONE person in the world claiming, that this family has experienced this story. Yes, he CAN be right, but so can the alien-people. This is simply - like much of the witch-hunt area of Wikipedia - very undocumented.

It does not seem as if though you quite understand. For example, you have not proved yourself that this is the fiction of one single person either. Nevertheless, the rules of Wikipedia are as are stated above. I do agree that this article can be marked with a "better-reference-is-needed" tag, however. Thank you for spotting this. --Aciram (talk) 00:05, 11 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

94.216.34.121 (talk) 18:08, 29 July 2013 (UTC)Kunze based his book on his dissertation "Der prozess Pappenheimer" (1981)which goes into much greater depth on the legal aspects of the case and which is exactingly referenced - but only in German. I take issue with the notion that he is not an historian and therefore this book is worthless. By the same token, one of the standard texts on the Black Death (Phillip Ziegler) should be chucked in the bin. There is absolutely nothing wrong with "Highroad to the Stake"[reply]
