[edit]This article has no current references. Reference to Edward R. Murrow's early role at CBS News are questionable. Murrow was producer, then correspondent in London. He hired European staff. Beyond this he had no role in setting up CBS News, in establishing standards and practices for CBS News, or in development of World News Round-up. Robert Trout was first newscaster on World News Round-up but served as air talent only and did not participate in the creation or development of the program. See Gates, Gary Paul. - I have requested that this link be whitelisted. It is a legitimate page from the Radio Television Digital News Association that is archived at the Internet Archive. (What appears below seems to be a duplicate of this alert.) — WFinch (talk) 03:17, 14 August 2015 (UTC)
