Original research

[edit]

This article is either a copyright violation, or is filled with original research. This is obvious from the use of phrases and adjectives which rely on a great deal of subjective appreciation (e.g. "Sanders' brand of revelatory and sometimes political free jazz became less popular"), without any corresponding sources. I ran two quick searches on Google, and found a number of web pages with very similar/near identical text. I realise that some may be mirrors. However, the lack of sources to the statements concerned leads me to suspect that this may have been plagiarism on the part of one of our editors. The problem needs to be dealt with whatever the case. I don't know the subject area well enough to want to determine who copied whom, so I have instead tagged the article {{original research}}. [edit]

These sources do not belong in External links. I have moved the link farm from there to this talk page where they do belong. Warning: I didn't check them over, so be careful in choosing any references here. Thank you! --Leahtwosaints (talk) 00:41, 3 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Copyvio - Encyclopedia of Arkansas

[edit]

It looks like the article currently contains a large amount of text copied from Sanders' entry in the Encyclopedia of Arkansas. Not entirely sure how the Encyclopedia of Arkansas works or if their article was copied from WP. Vladimir.copic (talk) 23:28, 25 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

article badly needs proper referencing

[edit]

A lot of this could be hit with Original Research tags. If you are the contributor or are just a SME on Sanders, please put inline citations where needed. 50.111.34.139 (talk) 06:50, 26 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
