Fair use rationale for Image:Powerhouse-Sheetmusic-72ppi.jpg

[edit]

Image:Powerhouse-Sheetmusic-72ppi.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Powerhouse is not a "song." There is no singing and there are no lyrics. It is a "tune" or a "composition." But it is no more a "song" than Beethoven's 5th Symphony is a song. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Jgrab1 (talkcontribs) 20:39, 16 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Is it a song?

[edit]

Is is a song? The article states that it is an instrumental composition. If it is a song, what is the role of a voice? If there is no role, should the title of the article be changed? 206.53.193.5 (talk) 13:50, 29 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

No, I don't think it's a song. Be bold, and make the name change to "Powerhouse (instrumental)" if you want. Wuffyz 19:27, 19 December 2009 (UTC)

Millions Like Us (1943)

[edit]

This music is in the 1943 movie "Millions Like US". It is played in a WWII factory machineshop floor. The record is shown appears to be "Brunswick". The movie is on Netflix online @ ~56:53. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.13.192.156 (talk) 02:42, 10 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

question

[edit]

a more modern rendition of this music was used for Cartoon Network's 1998-2004 branding, could you please add a reference to this? 166.137.19.52 (talk) 00:24, 2 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
