Engagement and Religious Ceremony Dates?

[edit]

Anita met Prince Pieter Christiaan in London and the couple announced their engagement on 25 February 2005. They married in a civil ceremony on 25 August at Het Loo Palace in Apeldoorn and in a religious ceremony on 27 February 2005 at the Grote of St. Jeroenskerk in Noordwijk.

How can they have announced their engagement on February 25, 2005, married on August 25th in a civil ceremony and then married on February 27th 2005 in a religious ceremony? By the official bio I'm going to change the date of the religious ceremony to August 27. --Mdieke 12:18, 7 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

van Vollenhoven-van Eijk

[edit]

The official web page says, "she bears the courtesy title of Princess of Orange-Nassau, van Vollenhoven-van Eijk." Dutch Royal House. I've added the "-van Eijk" to everything, but I haven't moved the page because I don't want to break all the links that lead to this page and I'm not sure how to track all of them down to change them. --Ariadne55, 10 January 2007.

We have a good cite for her full surname. While we want to keep article titles short, cutting off half of her name isn't the way to do it. We wouldn't list Theodore Roosevelt as Ted Roose. If someone wants to propose moving her to "Princess Anita", that might make some sense, though the page seems fine as it is now. Ariadne55 (talk) 06:19, 16 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
