Spinoff
[edit]I do believe this is a spinoff of the Duck Tales show and fits with the definition given on the spinoff page. It includes characters introduced in other shows but shows a different perspective than before (from the cousins' perspective as opposed to McDuck's).
- How does it fit the definition? It's an entirely different universe. The only things linking the two shows is that Donald, Huey, Dewey, Louie, and a city called Duckburg are in both. Donald, Huey, Dewey, and Louie are just standard Disney characters that get re-used in various productions, and a city being named the same thing in two different productions does not a spin-off make. But I admit, on it's own, this does not indicate one way or the other the show's spin-off status. The real proof, as I see it, is that Quack Pack has human characters, while in Ducktales, humans do not exist. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.117.36.96 (talk) 14:35, 9 August 2009 (UTC)
New Section
[edit]I made a new section, it's about similations of DuckTales. If you spot some, please feel free to add it. (NOTE: This is a similation of these two, don't add something to this list that is in most cartoons.) So tell me, what you guys think of it. TheBlazikenMaster 12:05, 17 April 2007 (UTC)
New episode articles needed.
[edit]Currently this article has only one episode. I think we should work on more episodes, the problem is there is only one DVD released and has only three episodes on it. So it would be best to record things from Disney channel, I know it's hard work, but I feel like it's needed. I might be one of the few people watching this article, but now that I've added it to two WikiProjects there should be more people. So please voice your opinions, it would be accepted. TheBlazikenMaster 12:05, 17 April 2007 (UTC)
- No use in doing that. User:TTN will just merge them. A good thought though. The Prince of Darkness 22:35, 12 May 2007 (UTC)
Well, it should be ok, if we could find good references in the episodes, and things like that. Reference from other culture. TTN did it probably because the episodes were nothing but summary, and stuff like that. But before worrying about that, let's worry about what we can do to make episode pages without them being only summary, and unverified notes/references. TheBlazikenMaster 22:56, 12 May 2007 (UTC)- Scratch that, I can see now that Family Guy, and things like that are the only episodes that can get their own article. This disscussion is over. Even if we'd finnish, eventually we would wanna stop doing it, so we should just not do it at all. TheBlazikenMaster 21:57, 14 May 2007 (UTC)
...was add, yet I see no mention of Quack Pack in whoever that is's article. TheBlazikenMaster (talk) 01:35, 22 March 2008 (UTC)
original channel was NOT Toon Disney
[edit]Someone who knows what they are doing needs to take control of the "disney afternoon" pages. Someone who doesn't know what they are doing is going around listing this and other shows as having premiered on the disney channel or toon disney. It did not. Or don't. No one seems to care about accuracy (or SOURCES) in this corner of wikipedia so whatever Wickedjacob (talk) 06:14, 19 April 2010 (UTC)
Propose merging List of Quack Pack episodes back to here
[edit]In general, one-season television series do not merit stand-alone 'List of episodes' articles (as per general WP:TV practice). Now, while a 39-episode season is on the large side, the List of Quack Pack episodes article itself only consists of about 20 kB of info (and probably less than that of pure "prose"), and as per WP:SIZESPLIT that does not really justify a stand-alone article. Also, a 20 kB episodes list/table is unlikely to "unbalance" this article unduly.
Please comment on this proposal here. A lack of comment will be interpreted as a lack of opposition to the proposal. --IJBall (contribs • talk) 20:40, 21 April 2018 (UTC)
- Support - 1 season, shouldn't have been split in the first place. Geraldo Perez (talk) 20:43, 21 April 2018 (UTC)
- I'll give this probably another week, and if there are no objections by then, I'll go ahead and merge. --IJBall (contribs • talk) 12:58, 30 April 2018 (UTC)
Done – contents of List of Quack Pack episodes merged back to here. --IJBall (contribs • talk) 16:09, 13 May 2018 (UTC)
