Alumin(i)um[edit]

Noticed an IP user changed the spelling of the material used to construct the spacecraft. My first thought was to revert without mercy, but then I started thinking:

Aluminium is the IUPAC spelling, and it's the one most of the world uses, and it's how the article on the metal is spelled. On the other hand, it was a US spacecraft, so perhaps the US spelling should apply within the article. Almostfm (talk) 04:54, 19 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]
