Its a 2009 single. The first release date in a physical format like doenload or CD is its release year. --Legolas (talk2me) 05:08, 14 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
On Tuesday December 29, 2009 it was added to the iTunes as an entire remix album . now im not sure if anyone is aware but this song was leaked 4 months before madonna's album Celebration came out —Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.232.247.52 (talk) 01:13, 30 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
It's true that the song was leaked several months before Celebration was released. However, the version that leaked was a demo recording by RaVaughn feat. The Jackie Boyz. This version is almost identical to the officially released album version. Previously, a clip of another demo featuring Lil Wayne as the main artist has leaked.--130.226.70.114 (talk) 12:25, 1 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I think it depends on the region you live in. Here in the USA, the physical single will be released in late January. The radio stations have started playing it so it's just going to be one of those singles that are released at the end of the year like "Don't Tell Me" back in 2000/2001 and "Love Profusion" in 2003/2004. So technically it will be the last single of the 2000's decade and the first single of the 2010's decade. Jdcrackers (talk) 01:35, 9 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I still think it's a 2009-2010 single the facts prove it!! I didn't get my copy until Feb 2010. Why 2009 when it's obvious it came out in some countries and charted there in 2010! Oh well some people won't understand like "I'm Breathless" is her 5th studio album and not a soundtrack because it's all Madonna material so I won't argue. I have my own blog with the correct facts.Jdcrackers (talk) 22:13, 23 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Noting that this is her last single of the 2000s also denotes the longevity of her career spanning the beginning of the 1980s all the way through to the close of the 2000s.Myownworst (talk) 05:04, 27 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

GERMAN CD SINGLE

[edit]

the release date for Germany/Europe is wrong. On January 22, 2010 no CD single was in Germany available. Is the February 5, 2010 the real release date? i hope someone can help.... —Preceding unsigned comment added by 217.81.10.111 (talk) 20:16, 2 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

No physical format has yet been released for this song, all those dates are wrong, someone should correct them. The fact that her official website says those are the dates should not matter when the fact is they are not yet available in any stores or to buy from any online store. Single release clarification

[edit]

I was wondering if we have to clarify in the article that the original album version was never released on any format of the single? I know that the album version may have charted on downloads from the Celebration album, but it was never officially included as part of the single release, only the remixes, particularly the David Guetta mixes were included on the single. I feel that this needs to be addressed in perhaps the opening statement? Thanks JWAD Communicate|Nicely 13:57, 16 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
