Rich Harden

[edit]

Rich Harden is a pitcher for the Oakland A's of Major League Baseball. He can throw the ball toward the plate at 100 miles per hour at certain points during the game. He can throw so fast that sometimes the batters have a hard time hitting the ball. He is a Canadian and he is very young. He has a lot of potential for the future, and the Athletics staff are all very ambitous about him.

Hopefully he will not be another Hudson.

NO CUBS IMAGE

[edit]

Why isn't there a Cubs image of him there? I think I've lost faith on wikipedia. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Silversword55 (talkcontribs) 04:30, 17 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Wikipedia is not an image gallery it is an encyclopedia. There are plenty of FA-status articles that do not even have images. Images are not a top priority on Wikipedia. Rather, this encyclopedia places more importance on an article's ACTUAL content. --  ShadowJester07  ►Talk  23:15, 17 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

For those interested in expanding this article, here's a Globe and Mail article about Harden's impact on the Cubs after the trade. Mindmatrix 16:44, 20 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Harden to the Red Sox not finalized yet.

[edit]

Officially, Rich Harden is still on the Oakland Athletics. The trade has not been finalized. Do not change his infobox to a Red Sox one. MAINEiac4434 (talk) 01:38, 31 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Never mind. It's changed back. MAINEiac4434 (talk) 01:38, 31 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
