Yes, she is still alive, as the article indicates. Her birthdate in the article (which can be verified) indicates this age as well. Is there a question/concern/addition you have for this article? Cheeser1 04:57, 3 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Sadly, This has now changed. Codwiki (talk) 11:58, 7 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Question[edit]

Are the 1941 dates in this article correct? The way it now reads, it sounds like the US was at war in February, 1941, which isn't true. - 24.92.183.83 01:16, 7 September 2007 (UTC) They are not correct. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.198.88.211 (talk) 23:39, 5 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

When did her husband pass away?[edit]

The NY Times article obituary (link on article page) was printed in 1992. Why does this article claim he died in 2003? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.97.82.252 (talk) 16:35, 4 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Women's professions?[edit]

"women were expected to be secretaries or teachers if they entered any profession."

-ummm... I'm tempted to clip that out... thoughts? wiki-ny-2007 (talk) 18:35, 4 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

perhaps you should read her autobiography and then decide.--Mannyskid (talk) 12:10, 1 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
