Untitled[edit]

Roy Leonard hosted a radio show for more than 3 decades on one of the country's largest media markets on a station heard across the world. http://www.highbeam.com/doc/1P2-4451723.html http://www.wgnradio.com/shows/leonard_roy/index.html http://www.highbeam.com/doc/1P2-3868612.html

Based on this link, Leonard looks notable. I won't delete it for now but flesh it out quickly as there is not enough content to warrant keeping it as it is. --Richard (talk) 08:16, 7 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
To start with, why isn't the information above in the article, instead of being on the talk page??? --R'n'B (call me Russ) 08:51, 7 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Early years, etc.[edit]

Leonard's birthplace is listed in the infobox, but not in the article. Per MOS:INFOBOX and H:IB#What should an infobox contain?, infoboxes are generally for summarizing information contained within the article, so I'm sure if they're really for introducing new unsourced content. It should be simple to add a sentence or two regarding where Leonard was born. Perhaps enough information can be found for a short "Early years" section. If, however, the consensus is not to expand the article in such a way, then at the very least I think that a citation needs to be added to support the claim regarding Leonard's birthplace per WP:INFOBOXREF and WP:BLPSOURCES. - Marchjuly (talk) 00:52, 8 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]
