- Information to be added:

Senvion manufactures and installs onshore and offshore wind turbines with nominal powers of 2.0 to 6.33 megawatts; and rotor diameters ranging between 82 and 152 meters. Moreover Senvion provides solutions in logistics, foundation and installation as well as service and maintenance work. [1]

The company operates manufacturing plants in Germany, Portugal, Poland and India and employs more than 4,500 people globally. Its registered business address is in Luxembourg. The company’s operational subsidiary Senvion GmbH is based in Hamburg, Germany. Since March 2016 the company changed its name to Senvion S.A. is listed on the Prime Standard of the Frankfurt Stock Exchange (Ticker SEN). [2]

Senvion is active in European markets such as Belgium, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Ireland, Italy, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Sweden, Spain, the UK and as well as in Australia, Argentina, Canada, China, Chile, Japan, India and USA. [3]

- New chapter "Wind turbines" to be added:

2.XM series - In August 2016 Senvion acquired the Indian manufacturing facilities and product portfolio of fellow-German manufacturer Kenersys in India. These turbines comprises five turbine models, ranging from 2.3MW to 2.6MW and rotor diametres of 100-metres to 120-metres. [4]

4.XM series - Senvion offers two 4.2MW models, unveiled at Windpower 2018 fair in Chicago. The 4.2M140 and 4.2M148 are turbines for low and medium wind speed sites and direct evolutions of the manufacturer’s 3.XM series. [5]

Offshore - Since 2018 Senvion is in the lead of the ReaLCoE project (Next Generation 12+MW Rated, Robust, Reliable and Large Offshore Wind Energy Converters for Clean, Low Cost and Competitive Electricity). The Innovation-Consortium is developing the next generation 12+MW competitive offshore turbine. [6]

  • As the content you are seeking to add now is strikingly similar in style and substance to that which was removed 2 months ago by Jytdog I'm not inclined to re-add this to the article, even if the claims are different, because:
  1. They are still referenced only by company press releases and/or industry-related sites
  2. They are only slightly paraphrased from the source material (almost to the point of being outright insufficiently paraphrased)
  3. The content itself offers minimal information on company activities, which might be considered by some as trivial.
  4. Items such as the employee count and the fact that the business is registered as a Société Anonyme are already mentioned in the article.

Please provide independent WP:SECONDARY sources on information about company activities that go beyond employee counts, financials, names of executives, etc.  Spintendo  18:23, 8 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]
