Requested move 29 April 2024[edit]

Sheng nuSheng nü – Per the reasoning of several previous moves, the predominant Hanyu Pinyin romanization system treats nü and nu as different syllables, and I do not feel WP:COMMONNAME can be enough of a reason to keep the confusing, unsystematic name in this case.   • Support – as usual for Chinese titles, toneless pinyin should be our default unless there's a clear reason to use a different spelling. We might consider moving to Shengnü based on Ngrams results. —Mx. Granger (talk · contribs) 13:52, 29 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
