And it looks like the sites that give it as June 9 probably got it from here. Does anyone have a reference for the June 9 date?

I think this is from HRM, but I don't have the issue in front of me... In only her 2d TF final round (& their first meeting in a final), Indy 1975, she had trouble & ran a 6.44, losing to a dominating Big (he ran 5s all weekend), who clocked 5.93. She'd finally beat him at Gainesville in 1982 with a 5.86 to Big's 6.18. (And you wouldn't get in the 16 with a 5.86 anymore....) TREKphilerhit me ♠ 12:42, 1 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I was raised in Schenectady. Born in 1944. She ain"t gonna like this but she had the name cha-cha way before she met Connie. She raced up and down State Street making the turn at Brandywine Ave. She had a Corvette (1961 I think) with Cha-Cha painted on the side. This was at least early 1960's. I don"t wish to rumor about her bets on the out come of the races so I will stop here. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.208.127.19 (talk) 23:50, 11 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Some sources say Burlington, others Schenectady. I've sent an email to her website, but haven't received a reply yet. Clarityfiend (talk) 21:58, 13 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
