Merge[edit]

Both articles describe the same institution, so having 2 separate articles make no sense. -- 12.106.111.10 01:06, 16 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Agreed. It doesn't really need discussion, does it?--Bonadea 14:53, 20 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Agreed. The only topic I can imagine discussing is which article should be the surviving article. Which parenthetical entry is more in keeping with Wikipedia convention: "South Bend" or "South Bend, Indiana"?--orlady 15:30, 20 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Agree. I don't care which article is kept, since they have nearly the same content. How did 2 get started independently anyway? --Eric 02:28, 8 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Football "championship"[edit]

I don't understand the edit warring over putting in a state football championship for either 1964 or 1965. St. Joe did not win a state football championship in either of those years, I promise you. Why? Because Indiana didn't even have a state football championship tournement until 1974. If by chance you are trying to say they were "top-ranked", which would be the closest equivilent, that would need to be referenced. And IMHO, it wouldn't qualify as equal to a championship unless St. Joe was ranked #1 in both the AP and the UPI polls. John from Idegon (talk) 18:06, 25 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]
